Nathaniel, an avid cornhole player, knew the frustration of a sunny afternoon turning into a squinting match against the glare bouncing off the boards. Existing umbrellas and canopies were too bulky to haul to a tailgate or backyard tournament, and none of them were built to attach directly to a cornhole board or hold steady over the target. Determined to find a fix, Nathaniel set out to design a shade made specifically for the game he loves — and now the Sun Blocker Shield is ready for market.
A sturdy clamp secures the shield to the rear legs of a standard board while spiked support legs anchor the base to grass, dirt, or sand. A telescoping extender rod fine-tunes how close the shade sits, and an adjustable pivoting arm raises the panel up to about nine feet and angles it directly over the playing surface.
